Typhoon "Fireworks" speeds up the landing point and the impact of wind and rain will exceed 5 days

China Weather Network News Typhoon "Fireworks" landing soon!

At present, the "firework" has a complete structure and a huge cloud system. Zhejiang, Shanghai and other places have been affected by wind and rain.

Today (July 25) morning, the latest forecast from the Central Meteorological Observatory showed that the "fireworks" moved faster, the route was diverted to the north, and the landing location changed.

It is expected that in the future, "fireworks" will have more than 5 days of wind and rain impact on East China, and 6 cities including Shaoxing, Ningbo and other cities will see violent storms.

Typhoon "Fireworks" speeds up the northward transfer of the landing site

From 5 a.m. yesterday to 5 a.m., the outer cloud system of Typhoon "Fireworks" has brought obvious wind and rain to Zhejiang, Shanghai and other places. Among them, Shaoxing, Ningbo, Fenghua, Shipu, Putuo and other places suffered heavy rains, with rainfall exceeding 100 in 24 hours. Mm.

From 8 to 9 am this morning, precipitation occurred in the area south of the Huaihe River in Jiangsu, and strong winds occurred in parts of the coastal areas and parts of southern Jiangsu. Among them, the extreme winds in 58 towns (streets) in the three cities of Suzhou, Nantong, and Yancheng reached level 8 or above. , The extreme wind in 2 towns (streets) reached level 10 or above.

Judging from the satellite cloud picture this morning, the cloud system on the west side of Typhoon Fireworks has basically affected eastern China, and the spiral structure is still relatively complete. The cloud system on the west side and the precipitation intensity are weaker than those on the east side of the typhoon.

Compared with yesterday, the eye of the typhoon is less clear and its intensity has been weakened, but the water vapor is still abundant, and the impact cannot be underestimated.

At 09:00 today, the "firework" is located on the offshore water about 80 kilometers southeast of Zhoushan City, Zhejiang Province. The Central Meteorological Observatory predicts that the "firework" will move to the northwest at a speed of about 15 kilometers per hour, and it will pass this afternoon. Or land on Zhoushan, Zhejiang, cross Hangzhou Bay, and land on the coast from Jiaxing, Zhejiang to Qidong, Jiangsu tonight, at the level of typhoon.

Compared with yesterday, the speed of the typhoon has accelerated. According to Wang Weiyue, a meteorological analyst of China Weather Network, this is due to the obvious easterly wind on the north side of the typhoon, which has increased the acceleration of the typhoon.

However, the landing location also determines the landing time of the typhoon "Fireworks". If it lands on Zhoushan, the landing time will be earlier; if it passes Zhoushan and enters Hangzhou Bay, it will land along the coast from Jiaxing, Zhejiang to Qidong, Jiangsu, and the landing point will be more northerly. The time is today night, which is equivalent to the forecast landing time yesterday.

"Fireworks" will whirl in East China after landing, the impact of wind and rain will exceed 5 days

The Central Meteorological Observatory predicts that the intensity of the "fireworks" will gradually weaken after landing, but they may be circling in East China.

Wang Weiyue said that although the acceleration of the "fireworks" has reduced the possibility that it will continue to strengthen and will land on the east coast of my country at a typhoon level, the "fireworks" may be "dependent" after landing, which will affect the wind and rain on the east coast. At least 5 days or more, which means that the impact of wind and rain is not only violent, but also has a long "standby" time.

The main period of wind and rain brought about by "fireworks" is July 25-29. Zhejiang, Shanghai, Jiangsu and Anhui will encounter strong winds and rains successively.

Among them, Zhejiang, Shanghai, southern Jiangsu and western Jiangsu, Anhui and other places have heavy rainstorms, local heavy rainstorms, 200-500 mm in central and northern Zhejiang, Shanghai, southern Jiangsu, central and southern Anhui, etc., and local areas can exceed 700 mm ; The maximum hourly precipitation is 40-60 mm, and the local area can reach more than 80 mm.

Among the cities, Zhejiang Shaoxing, Zhoushan, Hangzhou, Ningbo, Shanghai, Suzhou and other places will be affected. The current stormy weather has begun and gradually strengthened as the typhoon approaches.

From the forecast point of view, the heavy rainfall in Shaoxing is the most intense and lasts for a long time. There will be heavy to heavy rains or even heavy rains in the next three days. There will be moderate to heavy rains on the 28th, and then the rain will gradually weaken.

Zhoushan has strong rain today and tomorrow. There will be torrential rain today, and the moderate rain will turn to heavy rain tomorrow. The rain will gradually weaken the day after tomorrow.

Shanghai, Suzhou and other places are the most violent today and tomorrow, with heavy rains, and there will be heavy rains tomorrow and the day after tomorrow.

There will be heavy to heavy rains in Ningbo today and tomorrow, and there will be light to moderate rains from the 27th to the 28th. The rain gradually weakened to light rain and will continue until the end of the month.

The precipitation in Hangzhou is the strongest today, and there may be heavy rains. There may be moderate to heavy rains before the 28th, and then the rain gradually weakened.

Please make these emergency preparations before the typhoon makes landfall

  1. Keep the (temporary) first aid points near your home by heart.

  2. Prepare the necessary water and food.

  3. Prepare emergency kits, such as lighters, raincoats, ropes, helmets, multi-function flashlights (the kind that can be shaken to generate electricity), etc.

  4. Prepare medicine kits, such as iodophors and other disinfectants.

  5. The home can be powered off when necessary.

  6. Close the doors and windows tightly, and pay attention to the increased pressure on the glass when the strong wind is above level 10, which may break the glass. You can stick the "M-shaped" tape to fix the glass.

  7. It is also very important to handle or properly arrange the flowers and plants on your balcony in time to avoid falling objects from high altitudes due to the typhoon.

  8. Vehicles should not be parked in low-lying places, but on high roads or regular parking lots.

  9. Electric vehicles also have certain safety hazards, so they should be parked at a place leeward.

  10. Fully charge the phone and carry a power bank.

  11. Inflatable lifebuoys can be prepared, especially in low-lying places.
