Lil Nas X

- Satan Shoes Trial

, he staged himself in court by embodying everyone, from the judge to the prosecutor to the incompetent lawyer.

Not only does the video underline the absurdity of the affair, but also suggests that the scandal concerned above all his assumed homosexuality.

"Let me rephrase the question: does your mother know you are gay?"

The prosecutor asks at one point, before Lil Nas X answers in the affirmative.

A juror (also played by the rapper) then exclaims: "Lock him up and throw away the key!"

And at the start of the week, the hashtag #FreeLilNasX began to circulate on the networks.
