The patient needs special medicines to be treated at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City Hospital, at a cost of 23,000 dirhams, for a year, and her family’s financial capabilities do not allow the amount to be managed.

Umm Ahmed expressed her happiness and deep thanks to the donors, for standing with her in light of the circumstances she is going through.

He coordinated the "hotline" between the donors and the Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities in Dubai, to transfer the donation amount to the patient's account in the hospital.

This was accompanied by an increase in the number of times she went to the bathroom, sudden weight loss, blurred vision, and a constant feeling of fatigue and exhaustion, in addition to the fact that her wounds did not heal in the normal time, as it took longer.

As a result of her deteriorating health, she went to the emergency department of Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City Hospital, and after the specialist doctor examined her condition, he asked her to perform laboratory tests and analyzes.

The results of the tests showed that she suffers from a sharp rise in the sugar level, which resulted in a defect in the work of the pancreas, which resulted in the insufficient production of insulin in the body, which caused disturbances in the processes of building and demolishing the metabolism, and caused her to develop type 1 diabetes.

(Um Ahmed) said: "The doctor advised me to follow a diet to prevent high blood sugar and pressure, in addition to exercising daily, and taking enough time for psychological rest, and also asked me to undergo periodic examinations."

She added that the doctor prescribed her diabetes medications, and she kept taking them on time, until her health condition stabilized, and she was able to control the sugar level in the body, but the disease led to health complications, including permanently high pressure, and headaches as a result of high pressure in the eye. right, and rheumatoid arthritis.

She pointed out that she needs to take medicines regularly, so as not to be exposed to more complications, but the value of her medicines is 23,000 dirhams for a year, and her family is completely unable to provide any part of the costs of medicines.

She said: "My eldest daughter is the only breadwinner for us, and she works in a government agency in Abu Dhabi, with a salary of 10,000 dirhams, of which she pays 2,500 dirhams in bank installments, and 1,000 dirhams for rent, knowing that my family consists of four members."
