Bomi, known as Bowo in ancient times, means ancestor in Tibetan, and is located in Nyingchi City, southeastern Tibet.

Bomi County has beautiful scenery and is known as "Little Switzerland" and "Green Sea Pearl".

Due to the special geographical and climatic conditions of the plateau in Bomi County, the diversity and excellence of the understory resource organisms in Bomi County are created, and Gastrodia elata is the most representative of them.

In November each year, the Tibetan Gastrodia Wild Tending Base begins to collect local wild Gastrodia elata, heat up in the cultivation room to intervene and germinate, and natural scattered light promotes flowering. After artificial self-pollination and fruit collection, artificially cultivated Gastrodia seeds can be obtained. After another two years The artificial cultivation of Bomi Tibetan Gastrodia is mature and can be tapped.

It is understood that the Tibet Gastrodia wild cultivation base of the Bomi Plateau in Tibet has applied for the invention patent and trademark registration of "Tibetan Gastrodia".
