Around 2:00 pm on the 24th, the fire department reported that "one person who was in the river seems to have drowned" in Hijikawa, Ozu City, Ehime Prefecture.



According to police and fire departments, a 17-year-old high school boy in Ozu City was rescued from the river at around 5:30 pm and taken to the hospital.



It means that you are in a state of cardiopulmonary arrest.



The high school student was swimming in the river with five friends from around 1 pm on the 24th.



The site is near the tourist attraction "Garyu Sanso" in Ozu City, and the river is about 5 to 10 meters deep.



Police are investigating the situation in detail, assuming that the high school student drowned while playing in the river.
