The security services in Egypt revealed the circumstances of a video clip that sparked widespread controversy, in which a girl in her thirties appears tied to an iron chain from her feet to a bed inside a house and suffers from some bruises.
After the widespread spread of the video on social media platforms, the security services of the New Valley Security Directorate were able to identify the girl referred to, and it turned out that she was a university student, residing in the Farafra Police Station Department in Egypt.
And according to a statement by the Ministry of the Interior, published by “Masrawy”, investigations revealed that her father tied her to the house due to family disputes, caused by a love story that brought her together with a young man who was not satisfied with him from the family, and previously he had proposed to her, and the family refused that, and tied her up in an attempt to prevent her from communicating with the person mentioned.
After legalizing the procedures, the girl's father was arrested, and by confronting him, he confessed to committing the aforementioned incident.
The girl supported what was stated in the investigations, refusing to accuse her father of assaulting her or transferring her to a medical examination.
