China News Service, July 23. According to the official WeChat message of the Guangdong Provincial Health Commission, from 0-24 on July 22, Guangdong Province added a new case of asymptomatic infection, Zhongshan reported.
There were 14 newly imported confirmed cases in the province. Guangzhou reported 6 cases, 2 cases were from Congo (DRC), and the remaining 4 cases were from the United Kingdom, Sudan, Ghana and Malaysia; Shenzhen reported 1 case from Kenya; Foshan reported 3 cases. They were from Iran, Cambodia and Malaysia; Zhaoqing reported 2 cases, from Indonesia and the Philippines; Qingyuan reported 2 cases, from Malaysia and Turkey.
There were 8 newly imported cases of asymptomatic infections imported from abroad. Guangzhou reported 5 cases from the United Kingdom, Cameroon, Philippines, Japan and Chad; Foshan reported 3 cases from Iraq, Mexico and Maldives.
5 new cases were discharged.
As of 24:00 on July 22, a total of 2,834 confirmed cases of new coronary pneumonia have been reported across the province (1268 imported from abroad).
67 cases are currently in hospital.
