Mistreated by the Covid-19 pandemic, the Tokyo Olympics almost did not take place.

After postponements and the application of strict measures to adapt to sanitary conditions, the opening ceremony was maintained on Friday July 23, but without an audience.

Fans will however be able to watch all events on television.
