The "health pass" was voted early in the morning this Friday, July 23, after a night of debates in the National Assembly.

More than 1,000 amendments have been considered since Wednesday.

Adopted with 117 votes in favor and 86 against, the bill provides for compulsory vaccination for caregivers and the extension of the “sanitary pass” to bars and restaurants in early August.

This last section has aroused strong opposition.
