A famous American rapper buys an alien planet bigger than Jupiter!
Canadian singer Claire Bouchet, better known as "Grimes", announced that American rapper Lil Ozzie Vert is about to buy an alien planet, which would make him the first person in history to own a planet, according to Radio Monte Carlo International.
The planet, called WASP-12b, is located 870 light-years from the Sun and 522.6 light-years from Earth in the so-called Auriga constellation.
It is unlike any gas giant known so far, and is said to contain large amounts of various minerals and possibly even water which is extremely rare for a planet of this size.
According to the American Space Agency, this planet is a gas giant discovered in 2016 and revolves around a star of the type G main sequence (which types vary according to the spectral type, luminosity and mass) and the year lasts for a little more than four days, and the temperature, which exceeds 1000 degrees .
What distinguishes it from other planets is its density.
Although it is 1.4 times the size of Jupiter, it is only a fifth of its mass, making it the least dense exoplanet ever discovered.
In response to the tweet by Grimes, who is the partner of billionaire Elon Musk and the mother of one of his children, the rapper replied, "I tried to surprise everyone and I'm still working on it."
But Grimes returned and tweeted that "the official papers are almost complete to make Lil Ozzie Vert the first person to own a planet."
