On July 23, the "Meet Dunhuang·Light and Shadow Art Exhibition World Premiere" opened in Beijing Huaxi LIVE·Wukesong Central Plaza.
As a Chinese original IP, this exhibition uses 3D light carving digital technology to combine Chinese traditional culture with modern technology. In a 12-meter-high exhibition space with a total area of more than 1500 square meters, 48 high-definition projectors are used to create a full-scale display. The immersive world of light and shadow shocked and reproduced the artistic charm of the wonderful Dunhuang grotto culture.
In this exhibition, with more than 200 Dunhuang murals redrawn by artists such as Chang Shana, Bao Ying, etc., through the combination of movement and static, the digital light and shadow exhibition method is suitable for virtual and reality, leading the audience into the light and shadow space-time tunnel, traveling between the past and the present , Explore the constant wisdom and aesthetics in the long river of time, let traditional culture and modern civilization have a dialogue in the present.
It is reported that the "Meet Dunhuang" light and shadow art exhibition will last for three months.
The early stage of the exhibition will focus on the two themes of "Silk Road History" and "Dunhuang Dance Music" to interpret the culture and art of the Dunhuang Grottoes, and invite professional dancers from the Gansu Song and Dance Theater and the Beijing Dance Academy in the form of "flying" in the flow of light and shadow Dance and interact with the audience.
In the later period, the content of the exhibition will be continuously improved and enriched, and themed lights and shadows such as "Nine Color Deer King" and "Dunhuang Thousand Buddhas" will be added.
