This year's No. 7 typhoon "Chapaka" landed in Yangjiang City, Guangdong Province on the evening of July 20. Affected by the typhoon, rainfall increased in many areas of Yangjiang, Guangdong, and the water level of some rivers rose.

  At 0:26 on July 21, Yangjiang City 119 Fire Command Center received an alarm that the shrimp pond of Team 4, Pinggang Farm, Pinggang Town, Jiangcheng District, Yangjiang City was flooded and some people were trapped.

After receiving the alarm, the Yangjiang Fire Rescue Detachment High-tech Special Service Fire Rescue Station immediately dispatched.

  After the firefighters arrived, they saw a house cracked by a typhoon at the other end of the rushing river. Surrounded by rising river water, a man was trapped on an "isolated island". Keep rising.

  The on-site fire commander immediately assembled the power boat and arranged for personnel to drive the rubber boat to the opposite shore with life jackets, etc. After about half an hour to rescue, the trapped persons on the "isolated island" were safely transferred to the shore.
