Le Monde newspaper revealed that the phones of French President Emmanuel Macron and 15 members of the government were spied on by Morocco via Pegasus spyware.

Since the revelations of the Pegasus project, Morocco has denied being a client of the Israeli company NSO which markets this spyware.

A group of international media has been unveiling since Sunday, in episodes, the conclusions of the investigations carried out on the basis of a list of 50,000 numbers potentially targeted by the software across the planet.

According to the French newspaper

Le Monde

, the phone number of President Emmanuel Macron was targeted by a Moroccan security service, as were the numbers of other French politicians.

According to the investigation unit of Radio France, a number of King Mohammed VI is also on the list.
