  In the special operation to combat illegal fishing in the Yangtze River Basin, the Chongqing Police established a special operation leading group led by the Environmental Protection Corps of the Chongqing Public Security Bureau, with 15 police departments including marine police and public security as member units, and continued to advance, focusing on the main attack direction. On "Fighting Gangs, Ending Sites, and Chopping Chains", 114 criminal gangs were destroyed, and the 18-member Chen Moyi gang’s illegal fishing chain case was listed by the Ministry of Public Security as the top ten typical cases of illegal fishing in the Yangtze River Basin.

  At the same time, the Chongqing police also cooperated with agricultural and rural areas, market supervision and other departments to carry out the "two rounds of simultaneous inspection and law enforcement operations", "100-day fishing-related visits", and "100-day tackling operations" in the high-risk waters of the Yangtze River basin for illegal fishing in stages and steps. A series of operations such as "joint unannounced visits and inspections", "special work for combating electric drug bombings," "special law enforcement during the Spring Festival and Lantern Festival," and "May 1st Centralized Inventory" have maintained a high-pressure deterrent situation of "zero tolerance" against illegal fishing.
