On July 21, a command vehicle, a "Dragon Suction", and more than 30 rescuers from the China Aneng Tangshan Rescue Base arrived at the entrance of the Beijing-Guangzhou North Tunnel with deep standing water in Zhengzhou to start drainage operations.

The total length of the tunnel is about 4.9 kilometers, and it is initially estimated to drain 500,000 cubic meters.

At present, the stagnant section for drainage is about 1.3 kilometers, and another two "Long Suction" have rushed to the remaining exits of the Jingguang North Road Tunnel to drain.

In addition, more than 10 drainage equipment rushed to the scene for rescue.

  As of 3:40 pm on July 21, the rescue force of China Aneng Tangshan Rescue Base has been pumping drainage for 3 hours at the tunnel entrance of Jingguang North Road, with a total drainage volume of nearly 10,000 cubic meters.
