On the 23rd, when the opening ceremony of the Tokyo Olympics was held, the Japan Air Self-Defense Force's aerobatics team "Blue Impulse", which is conducting an exhibition flight over Tokyo, conducted a rehearsal in preparation for the actual performance and drew the Olympic symbol mark in the sky.

(The video shows the rehearsal on the 21st. It cannot be viewed on the data broadcast).

"Blue Impulse" belonging to the Air Self-Defense Force Matsushima Air Base in Miyagi Prefecture is a symbol mark using five colors of "color smoke" of blue, yellow, black, green and red on the 23rd when the opening ceremony of the Olympics is held. Five wheels are to be drawn above the national stadium.

On the 21st, we conducted a rehearsal in preparation for the actual performance, and flew over Tokyo in formation after midnight.

Then, when I arrived at a place about 1500 meters above the national stadium, I used white smoke, which was different from the actual one, to draw the symbol mark of the Olympic Games, which has a diameter of about 1.2 km per ring.

The Japan Air Self-Defense Force has already announced the flight route for the exhibition flight of "Blue Impulse" on the 23rd, but has not disclosed the time to fly to prevent the crowd from gathering.

It is scheduled to be announced on SNS etc. in the morning of the 23rd.
