  In an interview with the media after attending a public event that day, Ouyang Yu said that Macau's current vaccination rate is close to 40%, which is still far from the ideal vaccination rate.

Recently, the number of people making appointments for the new crown vaccine has shown a downward trend. The highest peak earlier recorded more than 10,000 appointments per day, but in recent days there are only about 2,000 appointments per day.

She urged the public to actively get vaccinated and work together to build an immune barrier.

  Ouyang Yu revealed that the three places have been in close communication regarding the customs clearance between Macao and the Mainland and Hong Kong. The Macao SAR government is inviting a team of experts from the National Health Commission to Macao to review the situation of Macao’s anti-epidemic and epidemic prevention.
