Li Daojun introduced at the press conference that the number of telecommunications network fraud cases cracked in Guangxi and the number of suspects arrested have increased year by year.
During the "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan" period, Guangxi Public Security carried out comprehensive rectification around Binyang and other areas with high incidence of electric fraud, and prevented the masses from losing more than 1.9 billion yuan.
The Guangxi police continued to improve early warning and dissuasion measures. In the first half of this year, the Anti-fraud Center of the Autonomous Region issued 1.552 million early warning messages, successfully discouraging 1.515 million people, avoiding losses of 3.033 billion yuan, and effectively protecting the people's "money bag" security.
In strengthening the recovery of stolen goods, the case-handling departments of the public security organs at all levels in Guangxi took advantage of the cooperation between the police and the bank to actively carry out the work of "checking, stopping, freezing and returning" funds, insisting that the funds involved in the case "every card must be chased, and doubts must be frozen", and do their best to do so. The masses recovered their losses. In the first half of the year, the Anti-fraud Center of the Autonomous Region stopped payment of 182,000 frozen accounts through the anti-fraud platform of the Ministry of Public Security, and stopped payment of more than 7.1 billion yuan of frozen funds; each city has 345 defrauded funds that meet the conditions for returning a total of more than 23.08 million Yuan returned to the victim.
