Fukuoka Prefecture announced on the 20th that it was confirmed that 91 new people were infected with the new coronavirus in the prefecture.
The number of people increased by 41 from Tuesday a week ago, surpassing the same day of the previous week for four consecutive days.
It is the first time since the 14th of last week that the number of infected people in the prefecture exceeds 90 per day.
The breakdown is
▽ Fukuoka City with 54 people,
▽ Kitakyushu City with 11 people, and
▽ Kurume City with 2 people.
A total of 36,522 people have been confirmed to be infected in Fukuoka Prefecture.
In addition, it was found that 12 new people in the prefecture were suspected of being infected with the delta strain of the mutant virus confirmed in India.
