Despite losing his 10 fingers, a Korean has climbed 14 Himalayan peaks

A Korean climber named Kim Hong Bin succeeded in climbing Broad Biak, one of the peaks of the Himalayas, despite losing his ten fingers.

Today, the KBS World news network reported that the height of the summit reaches 8 thousand and 47 meters above sea level, and it ranks 12th among the highest mountains in the world.

With this, Kim was able to climb 14 of the Himalayas, each of which exceeds 8,000 meters in height, after he started the challenges in 2006.

Kim had frostbite on his fingers after a climbing accident in 1991. At the age of 27, all of his 10 fingers were amputated.

Kim lived in a period of great frustration, but he began his attempt to climb the mountains again using special gloves and some aids.

Finally, Kim has climbed 14 Himalayas in the past 16 years, overcoming difficult conditions.
