An Egyptian demands his wedding photos from a photography studio after 43 years.. and with the receipt

43 years after it was photographed, a citizen demanded to receive his wedding photos from the director of a photography studio in Alexandria, Egypt.

According to Al-Masry Al-Youm newspaper, the owner of the photos came to the photography studio and presented a receipt dating back to 1978, asking the director of the place to search for her to receive it for the first time, despite the passage of 43 years since his marriage.

Ayman Mounir, director of his father's studio, called "Mounir Shehata", published a copy of the receipt that the owner of the photos brought, on his personal page on "Facebook", commenting: "I swear to God, I can't believe... One is coming to ask about his pictures of joy, The problem is that he is asking diligently… the customer brought a receipt from 1978… I mean, he’s only 43 years old, and this is a picture of the receipt that he had with him for all these years.”

He added: “By the way, the total amount is 400 piasters, not 400 pounds.” The receipt shows the number of photos taken by the couple, which is 12, from the “card” category, while the total amount due is only 4 pounds, which the customer paid in full. filming time.

The owner of the photoshop initially thought that the receipt was one or two years old at most, but he was surprised by the shape of the old receipt, and the shock was completed when he noticed the date recorded as it appears in the receipt that the customer took the wedding photos on April 29, 1978,.

While the date of receipt was 6 days later, i.e. May 5, 1978, however, Munir did not show any objection to the client’s request, and decided to give him hope to search within the studio’s archive, and asked him to keep the receipt as an archive, as the history of the studio dates back to the forties of the last century, where It was owned by the grandfather at first, under the name “Studio Al-Shaab”, and in the sixties the son inherited it and changed his name to the current name “Mounir Shehata Studio”.
