Fukuoka Prefecture announced on the 17th that it was confirmed that 60 new people were infected with the new coronavirus in the prefecture.
The breakdown is 33 in Fukuoka City and 12 in Kitakyushu City.
A total of 36,307 people have been confirmed to be infected in Fukuoka Prefecture.
On the other hand, it was found that one person in the prefecture was suspected of being infected with the delta strain of the mutant virus confirmed in India.
