[Explanation] Caves 11 to 13 of the Yungang Grottoes, which were renovated for 9 years, were officially opened to the public recently, including the "Music Caves" that are well-known at home and abroad.

  In June 2012, the 11th to 13th caves of Yungang Grottoes were closed for the construction of eaves, mural protection, and reinforcement of dangerous rock masses. In June 2021, all the projects were completed and a one-month trial opening was carried out.

  Caves 11 to 13 of the Yungang Grottoes were excavated from 471 to 494. The upper part of the east wall of Cave 11 contains the earliest and most written "Inscription on the Statues of the Seven Years of Taihe" in the upper part of the 11th cave. The motives, wishes, background of the times, and the realistic environment of the building of stone statues by Fazong, Pu Ming and others at the time are of high historical value.

  Cave 12 is the famous "Music Cave" in Yungang Grottoes. Among the 47 musical instrument sculptures seen in Cave 12, there are not only Chinese old music instruments such as zither, panpipe, horizontal flute, and qin, but also five of Qiuci. Xian, the vertical 箜篌 of West Asia and Persia, and the Vanquish of Tianzhu are the true portrayal of the great integration of music and dance art of various ethnic groups in the society at that time.

  Everyone is very concerned about the opening of Cave 11, Cave 12 and Cave 13 in Yungang, because Cave 12 is the most exciting music cave in Yungang. In Cave 12, Chinese and Western culture, Chinese and Western musical instruments, and music have formed an ancient and modern sense. Symphony Orchestra.

Western and Eastern musical instruments blended with each other and played a wonderful Buddhist music.

Since last year, we have performed a performance of "Western Heaven Sanskrit" in Yungang. The main inspiration was taken from Cave 12 of Yungang. We want to move the image of Tiangong to real life, and we build this performance team every day There are 4 performances in the scenic area, and the whole is free for tourists.

  [Explanation] The main image of Cave 13 is Maitreya Bodhisattva with cross feet, 13.5 meters high, wearing a crown, a hanging bell collar and yale on the neck, a snake on the chest, and a double headed bead.

The top of the cave is strongly planned and decorative. The backlit top of the boat line of the main image is carved on the top of the cave. In addition to the flame pattern, a group of oval "light clouds" is carved in the back light. This is a large-scale Yungang Grottoes. The only "Guangyun" carved on the top of the cave.

  In September 2020, the 3D printed cave of Cave 12 of Yungang Grottoes opened the first step of "walking the world" at the Museum of Art and Archaeology of Zhejiang University.

At the end of December 2020, the 3D version of "Music Cave" "walked" from Zhejiang to Shanghai again, opening the second stop of Yungang Grottoes "walking the world".

  Over the years, we have cooperated with Zhejiang University and Wuhan University to print out all caves 3, 12, and 18 in Yungang as they were, and the restored cave 12 can be packaged separately. Yes, like building blocks, the Yungang Grottoes can be moved out to the world.

The activity we are currently conducting is the activity of walking around the world in the Yungang Grottoes.

Last year, I held an exhibition in this cave, which was 3D printed at Cave 12 of Zhejiang University, and this year, I held an exhibition at Shanghai Baolong Art Museum.

In the next step, we want to be in big cities across the country, and then go abroad and to the world, so that Yungang culture can be known and known to the whole world.

  【Explanation】According to the approval of the State Administration of Cultural Heritage of China, the Yungang Research Institute plans to implement cultural relic protection projects for Caves 1 to 4 and 19 of the Yungang Grottoes.

Cave 1 to Cave 4 will be closed from July 10 to September 30, and Cave 19 will be closed from July 10 to August 20.
