Kovalenko's film won the Special Look Grand Prix at the Cannes Film Festival

It is noted that the producer of the film, Alexander Rodnyansky, received the prize for the director.

He explained that Kira Kovalenko did not have time to return to the ceremony.

According to him, "Kira would thank her film crew with whom she worked in North Ossetia, her teacher Alexander Sokurov and, of course, the festival jury for such an assessment of her film."
