The 44th World Heritage Conference opened in Fuzhou on the evening of July 16. During the conference, Fuzhou carefully organized offline visits and inspection activities.
On the 16th, a group of guests came to Shangxiahang historical and cultural district to explore the prosperity of Fujian merchants for a century and feel the unique charm of Fuzhou's intangible heritage projects.
Shangxiahang got its name from the "navigation". A hundred years ago, there were many merchants and famous shops, and it became the commercial center and shipping terminal of Fuzhou.
For a long time, it has been an important place for folklore and historian experts to study the development of Fuzhou's commerce, and it is known as the "Fuzhou Traditional Commercial Museum".
