Since Emmanuel Macron's announcements on Monday evening, some demonstrations have taken place across France to protest against the extension of the health pass.

The decisions of the Head of State have been described as dictatorial on several occasions.

For Alain Fischer, president of the Vaccine Strategy Orientation Council, "dictatorship is not what is happening in France".  

The president of the Orientation Council for the vaccine strategy, Alain Fischer, was the guest of Europe Matin, Friday.

He recalled the importance of vaccination as the Delta variant of the coronavirus is progressing in France.

For him, the use of the term "dictatorship" in demonstrations against the extension of the health pass "does not make sense" in France.

"We are in a free country where everyone can express themselves"

"Words have a meaning. For me, dictatorship is not what happens in France", affirms Alain Fischer at the microphone of Europe 1. "We are in a free country where everyone can express themselves. including this type of opinion so it shows that the use of that term just makes no sense, "he continues.
