Two women miraculously survive after falling off a Prussian mountain

Two Russian girls miraculously escaped death after experiencing horrific moments after falling from a hammock onto the top of a 6,300-foot mountain slope, before they were saved from a horrific fall, according to the British newspaper "Daily Mail" published on Tuesday.

The horrific incident occurred in the Sulak Valley in the Russian Republic of Dagestan, when two girls were riding a swing on top of a 6,300-foot cliff, but suddenly, when swinging several times, the chain they were attached to broke, and the swing seat flipped, and the two girls fell towards the edge of the steep cliff.

Fortunately, their lives were saved by a small wooden platform that was under the edge of the cliff, preventing a terrible fall.

Instead of falling fatally, the girls were only bruised and scraped, before they were dragged to safety by people who surrounded them.

"The two girls sustained scratches, but neither of them was seriously injured," a local official said.

The authorities in Dagestan confirmed that the swing did not meet safety standards, as a result, the young women fell off the swing seat.

Police are currently investigating the safety of several valley swings that were built near the village of Zopotli, where the accident occurred, many of which do not meet safety standards.
