For you who want a classic Zelda summer:

Legend of Zelda: Skyward sword

Many old games are released to new platforms, with updated graphics and playability, and summer is a good season to go back to classics.

This summer, for example, The legend of Zelda: Skyward sword, will be released for Nintendo switch.

The game was first released for the Nintendo wii in 2011 but now it has been updated just in time for the entire game series' upcoming 35th anniversary.

For anyone who has missed the adventure with unique labyrinths or walks around in severe pain while waiting for the long-awaited sequel to Zelda: Breath of the wild, Skyward sword is a good painkiller.

And if someone is trying to embarrass you for playing video games on vacation, you can grab your Nintendo laptop and put yourself in the shade under an umbrella.

Platform: Nintendo Switch.

For you who only want meat:

DOOM Eternal

This new installation in the eternal DOOM series is rougher, gore-like and crueler than anything before.

For those of you who lack excitement in everyday life, hopefully DOOM eternals metal-soundtrack can pump up the adrenaline while you slaughter demons in hell.

The game was released last year but has been updated for the nextgen consoles this summer.

Platforms: Playstation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Playstation 5, Project Scarlett, Microsoft Windows

For those who want to play multiplayer but do not want to play war:

Knockout city

Summer often means lots of ball games, but Knockout city has a concept that is unusual, especially for us Swedes.

Dodgeball, a version of ghost ball, but in futuristic environments and with the ability to throw a ball with his polar bear's head.

It's so ridiculous that it's irresistible.

Platforms: Playstation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Playstation 5, Project Scarlett, Microsoft Windows
