China News Service, Beijing, July 15 (Reporter Ying Ni) 2021 is the 110th anniversary of the birth of the famous writer Yang Jiang and the fifth anniversary of her death.

The People's Literature Publishing House recently released a photocopy of the manuscript of "Yang Jiang Ri Class Quan Tang Poems" to express its sincere commemoration of her.

In November 2020, People's Literature Publishing House compiled and published "Qian Zhongshu's Selected Tang Poems", which was based on the manuscripts selected by Mr. Qian Zhongshu in "The Complete Tang Poems" and copied by Mr. Yang Jiang with a brush in the 1980s and 1990s.

This manuscript is an important document that has never been released to the public for decades, and it is also a unique anthology that can be read by the public.

Judging from the date marked on the manuscript, Yang Jiang's transcription work began on January 1, 1983 and ended on June 19, 1991.

From about 1985, she insisted on transcribing a little bit every day on a regular basis. Starting from 1988, she also marked the date almost every day.

The "Publishing Postscript" of "Qian Zhongshu Selected Tang Poems" mentioned that Yang Jiang's purpose in copying this Tang poem contestant's manuscript was to encourage Mr. Qian to choose poems and to practice his own calligraphy.

According to Zhou Xuanlong, editor-in-chief of Zhonghua Book Company, Mr. Yang has been insisting on writing calligraphy for many years, but she did not aim to become a calligrapher, but regarded it as a personal practice besides writing.

Mr. Qian and Mr. Yang have an agreement with each other, that is, each other will sign the title of each other's book.

Therefore, all the books published by Mr. Qian Zhongshu are inscribed by Mr. Yang.

I remember that when talking about the title of "Annotation to Song Poems", Mr. Yang said that the pen of the word "Xuan" was not written properly, and Mr. Qian laughed at him and said that he had "big fat feet".

Yang Jiang is also accustomed to self-comment on the words he has written.

After transcribing the poem "Picking Lotus" on September 23, 1990, "Sister is greedy for picking the lotus late, and she comes to make the water bow wet late", she criticized "捺" next to the word "Lian" and "Chi". "Too long" and commented on the side of the "water" "to hold it well, but the hook is too light and uneven".

In addition, there are many words on the manuscript, and circles are drawn beside it, which also means affirmation.

Zhou Xuanlong said that this reminded him of writing big characters when he was a child, and the teacher circled the well-written characters with a red pen.

This Tang poetry contestant manuscript originally consisted of nine volumes, and the first volume was titled "All Tang Poetry Records Yang Jiang Ri Class", and the publishing house named it as "Yang Jiang Ri Class Quan Tang Poems Record".

Among the nine manuscripts, the first seven are written on rough-edged paper for common calligraphy; the eighth and ninth volumes are written on the back of the used square manuscript paper. When editing and photocopying into a book, the publisher designs the manuscript according to the different sizes of the manuscript. Different formats, try to present the full picture of the original manuscript, and arrange it into two volumes in accordance with the order of the original manuscript, and mark the order of the nine volumes of the manuscript at the same time.

It is worth mentioning that the square manuscript paper used in the manuscript is the manuscript of some of the works of Mr. Yang Jiang. Among them are "Bath" and "Bingwu Ding Minority Chronicle", which are precious.
