Sharjah Art Foundation launched its Summer and Fall 2021 exhibition program, which includes solo exhibitions by artists from the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia, international exhibitions organized in cooperation with a number of art institutions around the world, in addition to annual events that highlight the work of local artists, filmmakers and publishers. and internationals.

The Summer Program presents the two exhibitions “Forever.. Rain will be made of lead” and “When I count..there is no one but you,” which are evaluated by Sheikha Hoor bint Sultan Al Qasimi, President of the Sharjah Art Foundation, and include selected works from previous exhibitions or From special commissions for the Sharjah Biennials, in addition to recent collections not yet displayed by the Foundation.

The summer program includes the third edition of the exhibition "Sharjah - Japan", which is held under the title "Insurgent Tranquility: Tranquility, Solitude, and Connection in Japanese Architecture", and explores the intimate role that architecture plays in our lives.

The autumn program includes a series of exhibitions: The Other Side of Silence by Hrair Sarkissian, the first investigative exhibition of the artist's work that explores the many ways used to tell contested histories through the image.

The largest of its kind for the artist's work to date, Sargsyan employs photographic techniques to evoke scenes that reveal historical trauma.

Followed by the exhibition "Incoming Objects", which highlights the artists' unwavering commitment to working to create a "sci-fi parallel to the present" through image and sound.
