Proving the parentage of my child, Hala Sedky, after the ruling on the imprisonment of her ex-husband

Today, Wednesday, the Qasr Al-Nil family court rejected the lawsuit of the husband of the Egyptian artist Hala Sedky, in which he claims to deny the lineage of her two sons to her, and decided to prove the lineage of her two children to her.

The court also ruled that the husband be imprisoned for a month for his failure to pay an alimony of 320,000 pounds in her favour, according to her lawyer, Rifaat al-Sharif.

In a previous ruling, the family court had ruled that Hala Sedky’s husband be imprisoned for a month for his failure to pay the amount of alimony awarded to her and her children, which is 155 thousand pounds.

Last August, the war began between Hala Sedky and her husband, after the latter accused her of seizing his money and a plot of land worth 8 million pounds.

The dispute reached its climax when the husband accused Hala Sedky of using another woman's eggs to get pregnant, and demanded a DNA analysis to find out the mother of his children, as he put it.
