On July 13, the Guangzhou Salvage Bureau of the Ministry of Transport of China successfully installed the world's first anti-typhoon floating offshore wind turbine in the Yangjiang waters of Guangdong.

The wind turbine can withstand up to 17 typhoons, with a stand-alone capacity of 5,500 kilowatts, and a full power generation capacity of 5,500 kWh per hour. It can provide green and clean energy for 30,000 households each year.
