The murder of a 25-year-old young man in the Egyptian governorate of Beheira caused a wave of sadness and anger, especially since the murdered young man was preparing for his wedding a few days after the day of the incident, which was known in the media as “the groom of the lake.”
Investigations revealed a surprise, as it was found that the killer had seized the phone of the victim, and had forgotten his mobile phone next to the corpse.
Investigations revealed that on the day of the tragic incident, the victim was returning to his home, and the killer saw him standing next to a car, talking on his mobile phone because they are neighbors.
Investigations added, according to “Al-Watan” newspaper, that the accused brought a small axe, stalked the victim from behind, and rushed him with several blows to the head from behind until he fell to the ground. The crime scene revealed to the accused that the victim's phone was unlocked with another party and it was his fiancée. The accused turned off the phone and fled, but at the same time he did not notice that he had forgotten his personal phone next to the body.
The investigations revealed the most surprising information, which is that the accused is well off and has an angel's car and his father was working in one of the major banks in the governorate, and he and his family are the neighbors of the victim's family recently.
