One new person infected with the new coronavirus was confirmed in Oita prefecture.

This brings the total number of confirmed infections in Oita Prefecture to 3,505.

The infection was confirmed in men, who are suspected of being infected with the "Delta strain" of the mutant virus confirmed in India.
