Affected by concentrated and heavy rainfall, the Qujiang River, a tributary of the Jialing River, has undergone a major flooding process.

The Hydrological Bureau of the Yangtze River Committee issued a yellow flood warning for the Qujiang River at 21:00 on July 10, an orange flood warning was issued at 10:00 on the 11th, and a blue flood warning for the mainstream downstream of the Jialing River.

Affected by this, the inflow of the Three Gorges Reservoir increased significantly, reaching 36,500 cubic meters per second on the 12th and 14th.

According to the dispatching order of the Yangtze River Committee, the Three Gorges Reservoir will release the outgoing flow according to the full capacity of the generator set from 18:00 on the 11th.

At 14:00 on the 12th, the outflow of the Three Gorges Reservoir was 31,000 cubic meters per second, and the water level of the reservoir was 146.18 meters.
