He also shared the original intention of his creation "1921": "Before, "The Founding of the Party" was a story of ten years. This time we chose a cross-section to focus on around 1921. The filming tells the minds of the young people who founded the Party. The story of the source of power is also for the original dream, to find that lamp in the fog. Sometimes you have to chase that lamp for a lifetime because of your love."

Producer Ren Ning was infected by the enthusiasm of the audience. “When shooting this work, I felt the cohesion of the Chinese filmmakers, and every time I met with the audience along the way, I felt Everyone’s love also made me appreciate the unity of the Chinese people and the sincere respect for the ancestors. I really appreciate everyone."
Huang Xuan, who plays Li Da, shared his feelings in the process of entering the role: "Thanks for this opportunity to have a conversation with the ancestors a hundred years ago. Their will has infected me. There were many moments when I was shooting because I was involved in it. I was moved to tears and hoped that after watching the movie, the audience could pass on the revolutionary fire."
Han Dongjun feels that participating in a film full of mission such as "1921" is a rare learning opportunity. He shared that after working with director Huang Jianxin, he has gained a lot: "Director Huang pays great attention to details and is very diligent. He only sleeps 3 times a day. For 4 hours, I was full of enthusiasm at the scene. This kind of professionalism has always affected me and I am better at work."
Peng Chuyue played the role of Fang Hao, the student leader of the "May Fourth Movement" in the film.
