According to reports, this is the first time L4 self-driving bus experience line has been opened in northern China.
Level 4 autonomous driving buses are highly automated driving. The safety officer does not need any operations throughout the journey, but there are also restrictions, such as limiting the speed of the vehicle to a certain value and the driving area is relatively fixed.
At present, 3 self-driving buses have been put into use, each carrying 12 passengers.
