In the midsummer season, 120 acres of sunflowers in Shaozhuang Town, Qingzhou City, Weifang ushered in their blooming season. The blossoming sunflowers competed to form a "sea of flowers" landscape, attracting many tourists to play and take pictures.
It is understood that the location of this beautiful "sea of flowers" was originally a large-scale abandoned mine.
In order to improve the ecological environment, Qingzhou City has adopted a combination of natural restoration, engineering management, landscape reconstruction, and platform-based management to improve the ecological environment. It has carried out mine restoration and management, planted oil sunflower and other crops, and opened a new path for green ecological development.
