Yamagata Prefecture announced on the 9th that it was confirmed that 12 new people were infected with the new coronavirus.
It is the first time in the prefecture that the number of confirmed infections has reached double digits since May 27.
The total number of people confirmed to be infected in Yamagata Prefecture was 2044.
