Severe thunderstorms, torrential rains, torn roofs… During this particularly rainy month of June, bad weather caused damage in certain regions of the south of France.
A cost of 550 million euros according to insurers
The storms and floods that hit France between June 16 and 29 caused around 235,000 claims at a cost of 550 million euros, the French Insurance Federation (FFA) said in a statement Thursday.
"Among the main material damages are the flooding of many homes and public buildings, as well as collapsing and flying roofs," said the FFA.
