On July 5th, as the girder erecting staff operated the JQT-180 bridge erecting machine, the last T-beam of the Fengtong Bridge was dropped on the abutment. The longest bridge of China-Laos Railway built by China Railway No. 5 Bureau and No. 6 Company— -The erection of the Fengtong Bridge is completed, which marks the completion of the main line of the old railway in the iconic “Belt and Road” project.
The Fengtong Bridge is located in Vientiane, the capital of Laos, with a length of 7528.56 meters and a total of 227 bridges. It is difficult to manage the safety of bridge transportation and erection, and is the control project of this tender section.
