The famous pulmonologist who revealed the scandal of the Mediator had not spoken since the start of the pandemic, preferring to "leave the floor to the specialists".
It is the fact of seeing his name and the case of the pick used on social networks by "conspirators" to doubt the benefits of vaccination in the resolution of the Covid-19 epidemic that finally pushed Irene Frachon to speak.

On the question of side effects such as flu symptoms or even rare complications, the pulmonologist judges that "the benefits of the vaccine are infinitely greater than the risks of Covid, there is no picture".
The pulmonologist finally encouraged young people to be vaccinated to regain a social life but also because according to her, "we will come out of this crisis only if the entire population is vaccinated quickly".
