At the age of 16, she was forcibly arrested by the Japanese army to the military headquarters.

Soon, she became seriously ill due to her unbearable body, and her family rescued her. After recovering from her illness, she was taken to a barracks by the Japanese army.

It was not until the Japanese surrender in 1945 that she led a normal life and settled in Wanning, Hainan in her later years.
