Iwate Prefecture has announced that one hospitalized patient has died after being infected with the new coronavirus.
In addition, the prefecture and Morioka City announced that 14 new cases have been confirmed to be infected.
So far, 47 people have died of the new virus in Iwate prefecture, and 1707 people have been confirmed to be infected.
