There were 8 newly imported confirmed cases in Guangdong Province, 7 cases were reported in Guangzhou, 2 cases were from Cambodia, and the remaining 5 cases were from the Philippines, Myanmar, Oman, Yemen and Ghana; Zhaoqing reported 1 case from the UAE.
There were 8 newly imported cases of asymptomatic infections imported from abroad. Guangzhou reported 5 cases, 2 cases were from the Democratic Republic of Congo, and the remaining 3 cases were from the Philippines, Myanmar and Yemen; Jiangmen reported 2 cases, from Saudi Arabia and Iraq; Zhaoqing reported 1 case, from Malaysia.
10 new cases were discharged.
As of 24:00 on July 1, Guangdong Province has reported a total of 2,745 confirmed cases of new coronary pneumonia (1179 imported from abroad).
144 cases are currently in hospital.
