Gifu Prefecture and Gifu City have announced that seven new people have been confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus.
It is the 8th consecutive day since the 25th of last month that the number of confirmed infections per day has fallen below 10.
A total of 9,270 people have been confirmed to be infected in Gifu Prefecture.
