Chinanews.com, Beijing, July 2 (Xu Jing Du Yan) "Welcome to the'Red Prologue of the Glory Great Cause-Peking University Red House and the Chinese Communist Party's Early Beijing Revolution Activity Theme Exhibition'..." At 9 o'clock, the commentator Zhang Mengyao dressed White shirts, red suits and skirts, smiling, standing in front of the main building of Peking University Red Building, welcoming today's first batch of tourists.

This year marks the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. The Red House of Peking University and the former site of the early Beijing Revolutionary activities of the Communist Party of China have been completely unveiled after more than a year of systematic renovation and upgrading.

From June 29th, the "Red Prologue to the Glorious Achievement-Peking University Red House and the Theme Exhibition of the Early Beijing Revolution of the Communist Party of China" (hereinafter referred to as the "exhibition") formally opened to the public.

958 pictures, 1357 cultural relics, 5 sets of sand table models, 13 precious video videos... At the theme exhibition, more than 2,000 exhibits are presented in 59 exhibition rooms on a century-old journey, leading the audience to grasp the original aspirations and draw forward strength.

"In order to welcome visitors in the best condition when the exhibition is officially opened, my colleagues and I have been preparing for more than half a year." Zhang Mengyao said that this year is his sixth year of explaining.

She started to explain in Xiangshan Park in 2016, mainly in Shuangqing Villa.

At the end of last year, I was selected and transferred to the Red House of Peking University with more than 20 lecturers from different units in Beijing for training. “The training content mainly includes party history, etiquette and other aspects. After assessment, everyone was qualified to work in June this year.”

The formal explanation work started at 9 o'clock, but she arrived at the Red Building at Peking University one hour earlier every day.

During this time, she and her colleagues will make up and change clothes. They also need to know the number of tourists on the day, batches, and the length of time each batch needs to be explained, and arrange them to the corresponding exhibition rooms.

The Red House of Peking University can currently receive 1,000 appointments a day, and appointments are very popular.

This made Zhang Mengyao both excited and full of challenges.

She needs to adjust the explanation time according to the schedule of different units and visitors, and arrange lunch breaks flexibly.

After the library closes at five o'clock in the afternoon, the day's work is officially over.

After the reception on the first day, she said that although she was tired, she was full of enthusiasm and confidence.

"Despite the limited time to explain, I will use the most sincere emotions to explain this history." For the future, she said that she needs to learn more, "because only by mastering more historical and cultural knowledge can we better serve the audience. ."

Faced with different audiences every day, I not only memorized the knowledge of party history, but also embodied the love of work in the careful and patient explanation to the audience.

Zhang Mengyao said that when she studied law in college, she decided to "change career" to be an interpreter after graduating and doing administrative work for several years.

There are two reasons for her "cross-professional" career in cultural and cultural work, in her opinion: one is that she has been interested in history and culture since she was a child, and wants to further understand and learn in the work, and also to spread the corresponding knowledge; "I can do this job."

"The interpreter is a cultural communicator, using his own voice and knowledge reserves to'reproduce' history. Only when we understand the exhibition enough can we bring richer historical knowledge to tourists in a relatively short period of time." She said, putting yourself inside. In this century-old building, there is an unprecedented sentiment.

"Thinking about the young people back then, with their homeland in mind, awakening the people's ideological consciousness, running, bleeding, and even sacrificing for the future of China. The young people who came out from here set off the turmoil of the times and ultimately saved the nation from peril. Whenever I think of this, my heart is surging. "She said that as a "post-90s", facing precious cultural relics and lifelike restoration scenes, not only can they truly feel the hardships of the revolutionary ancestors, but they can also feel their innocent heart.

Zhang Mengyao hopes that more people will come into the museum to learn about history, "At a revolutionary site like the Red Tower at Peking University, you can learn about the glorious history of the early revolutionary activities of the Communist Party of China in Beijing through exhibitions and have a deeper understanding of the Communist Party of China."

It is reported that this exhibition uses two exhibition halls to show the overall situation of the 31 old revolutionary sites in Beijing in the form of sand tables and graphic boards.

The audience can "look across" 31 revolutionary sites without leaving the building.
