For two years, Matthieu Belliard has accompanied listeners from 7 am to 9 am in the mornings of Europe 1. The journalist, who arrived at the radio station in 2018, hosted his last program on Friday morning.

He bade moving farewell to the listeners and to the teams of Europe 1, before being joined in the studios by many journalists, technicians and radio employees who had gathered around the recording studio over time. As the last show of the

"Goodbye to a great team"

Nicolas Canteloup paid tribute to Matthieu Belliard in his

Revue de près

 which usually closes the show.

The imitator and comedian chose to play Marine Le Pen and Charles Aznavour to say goodbye to the journalist.

Matthieu Belliard ended his last program by thanking the listeners.

“Your messages have been a real fuel,” he explained.

The journalist also had a word for the teams of Europe 1. "This radio station is above all a collective. Goodbye to a great team," he said with emotion.
