The trial of two trials of three former TEPCO management teams who were forcibly charged and acquitted in the first trial over the accident at the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant will begin in November.

Former Chairman Tsunehisa Katsumata (81), Former Vice President Ichiro Takekuro (75), and Former Vice President Sakae Mutou (71) of TEPCO were acquitted by the prosecution's examination committee over the nuclear accident. He has been forcibly charged and has been acquitted.

In September, the Tokyo District Court of the first instance acquitted all three people, saying, "It is not recognized that there was a possibility of predicting the occurrence of a huge tsunami," and a designated lawyer acting as a public prosecutor appealed. ..

The Tokyo High Court has decided to hold the first trial on November 2nd for the second trial.

The designated lawyer has already submitted a document summarizing the reasons for the appeal, claiming that "1 trial decision is significantly contrary to the conventional wisdom that an accident should not occur."

After a preparation period of more than two years from the first trial decision, a trial will be held again to hold the responsibility of the former management.
