Dubai Opera has announced the dates of its special performances for this season, which includes a selection of great artists such as the famous Armenian-Lebanese composer and musician “Guy Manoukian”, the well-known choreographer and international music composer “Juan Manuel Fernandez-Farroquito”, in addition to a number of immortal works such as great Bollywood "Devdas", and its conclusion will be with the performance of the legendary ballet "Anna Karenina" designed by Boris Effmann, in his first performance on the stage of Dubai Opera.
In a press release, Dubai Opera called on the public to look forward to a group of dazzling world-class performances, accompanied by a number of prominent artists "who will make this entertainment season an exceptional experience and an unforgettable memory", starting next September:
Farrokito

Juan Manuel Fernandez Montoya, better known as "Farroquito", is a world-class Hispanic choreographer, art director, composer and choreographer. This season, Varrokito will perform his latest performance on the Dubai Opera stage, to be a masterpiece from the magical world of flamingo, depicting his gypsy heritage mixed with his contemporary and exceptional touch.
Speaking about his vision for his next show, Farruchito said: “This show reflects the most special side of my personality, preserving the traditions and roots of flamingo art, while showing its current state from my own perspective. In this show, we will witness the best moments of the previous shows mixed with new creations and innovations, without compromising the essence of this wonderful art. With the flamingo (Belarus) dancers, we will show the pure gypsy life represented in many real life situations, whether with family, weddings or other occasions and celebrations. This cannot be learned in an academic way or in the studio, but rather acquired during everyday life situations and experiences. Every musician with us today plays a critical role in this creativity as a soloist, and every singer, musician or dancer has his or her own distinct influence, as everyone is a star and a hero in this show. Under the supervision of Yuri Alexandrov, one of the most famous contemporary opera directors, the St. Petersburg Opera Company presents its famous opera performance “Rigoletto”, in a different dramatic form that embodies the power of feelings and the struggles of the human soul, away from stereotypes, instead of being a simple hunchback. The character revolves around a smart, cynical man, filled with feelings of anger.
The hump of his back and his mask are only part of his costume as a clown at the Duke's court.
The work also includes a dramatic struggle, highlighting that the ugliness of the human spirit and bad manners cannot be removed as easily as the clown takes off his mask after the end of his show.

And unfortunate circumstances separated them, so that Dubai Opera was the first international station to show this huge production on its stage.

Anna Karenina

The Anna Karenina ballet, choreographed by feat of expressive choreographer Boris Efman, embodies a mixture of human emotions and emotional transformations.
